Gary Bossert played four years for the Purple Eagles from 1983-87. In that time Bossert averaged 7.5 points per game and 4.5 assists per game. 

Bossert holds the NCAA record for most consecutive 3-point field goals made in a game with 11. He also leads Niagara in 3-pointers made in a game (12), Season 3-point percentage (.441), Career 3-point percentage (.448), Most assists in a season (195). He is also third all-time in career assists (498).

He coached for three years at Norwood-Norfolk Central HS after getting his masters from Niagara in 1989.
