Amy Getman was a perennial scorer for the Purple Eagles from the field and the foul line. A sharp-shooting guard, Getman finished her career with 1,687 points, which is the fourth-most in Niagara women's basketball history. She holds the program career record in free throws made (510) and is second in free throw attempts (605) and free throw percentage (.842). Getman set single season records in free throws made (196) and free throw attempts (221) in the 2000-01 season. Her career scoring average of 15.9 points per game is second-best in Niagara women's basketball history. Getman was named to the All-MAAC First Team three times (1998-2001). She was inducted into the Niagara University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2008.
