Cunningham played four seasons (2001-05) for the Purple Eagles where she was a two-time First Team All-MAAC selection, earned Second Team All-MAAC honors and was named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team while leading Niagara to a pair of MAAC Tournament semifinal appearances.
During her senior campaign in the 2004-05 season, Cunningham led the Purple Eagles with a career-high 18.2 points per game and 5.3 assists per game en route to being named MAAC Player of the Year and earning a spot on the MAAC All-Tournament Team.
The East Aurora, N.Y. native finished her career with 1,753 points which is second all time and is first in assists with 552. She also ranks third in field-goal attempts (1,454), and steals (276) fourth in free throws (396) and free-throw attempts (446) and fifth in field goals (597).
