Lewisburg, Pa - Niagara women's track and field completed the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell Sunday afternoon.
In the 4x400-meter relay, the Purple Eagles posted a time of 4:09.23, with Vanessa Woolery, Haley Haskett, Cydney Hortman and Hannah Adderley-Julien combining for the effort.
Dallis Jones led the Purple Eagles in the 100 meters, clocking a 12.39 to finish ahead of Soraya Ross, who ran 12.48. Tiffany Clausell rounded out Niagara's entries in the event with a 13.26.
Ross was back on the track in the 200 meters, posting a 26.14 to lead the team. Hannah Adderley-Julien was right behind at 26.15.
In the 400 meters, junior Arrianna Blachowicz led Niagara with a time of 1:05.16, followed closely by sophomore Alexis Grijalva at 1:05.27.
Haley Haskett turned in a strong double in the middle distances. She led the team in the 800 meters with a 2:21.23, followed by Mercedez Covey at 2:25.67. Haskett also ran the mile, finishing in 5:30.72. Natalia Seremetis crossed in 5:33.86, and Addison Pound finished in 5:41.53.
Sophomore Alexa Briggs was Niagara's standout in the distance events, placing third in the mile with a time of 5:08.32 and winning her heat in the 1,500 meters with a 4:41.42.
In the 3,000 meters, sophomore Olivia Meier crossed the finish line in 11:17.96.
Senior Clara Barr led in the 100-meter hurdles at 15.01. Kimaya Hall followed in 15.60, Jada Kendrick ran 15.68, and Sophia Waliszewski posted a 15.75.
Woolery also competed in the 400-meter hurdles, posting a time of 1:06.08.
In field events, freshman Diasha Fluellen led the triple jump with a mark of 10.61 meters, with Hall adding a 10.57.
