Emmitsburg, MD - Niagara's women's track and field team saw a pair of athletes advance to finals competition while several others posted competitive performances across multiple events.
Vanessa Woolery led the way in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing sixth in 1:04.89 to earn a spot in the finals. Alexa Briggs also advanced, placing 10th in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:40.94.
In the 100-meter hurdles, Clara Barr led Niagara with a ninth-place finish in 15.21 seconds. Jada Kendrick was 12th in 15.46, and Kimaya Hall rounded out the Purple Eagles' trio in 15th at 15.85.
Sophia Waliszewski finished 12th in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:08.96.
Soraya Ross posted a 10th-place finish in the 100 meters, crossing in 12.35 seconds.
Hannah Adderley Julien competed in the long jump, placing eighth with a mark of 5.55 meters (18 feet, 2½ inches).
Olivia Meier rounded out the day for Niagara in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, finishing 12th in 11:59.01.
