Niagara University, NY - The Men's and Women's tennis teams both started their seasons at the Binghamton Fall Invite Sept. 12-14.
Isabel García went 3-0 on singles at number one beating Colgate, Binghamton and Le Moyne all in straight sets.
Nadia Guerrero collected her first couple singles wins as a Purple Eagle as well as Lily Dematas won one singles and one doubles match. Julia Clarke-Louie won two doubles matches with Guerrero.Â
On the men's side Damian Janiszewski won two matches for the Purple and White at the number one position in singles and Jose Maria Garcia also won two matches at singles number 2.
Logan Wong and Shravan Somali both collected their first Purple Eagle wins in singles. Sarosh Rustomjee also collected his first doubles win over the weekend alongside Janiszewski. Wong , Bhawan and Janiszewski also collected at least one doubles win as Purple Eagles .

The women's team heads to Buffalo to take on St. Bonaventure and Buffalo September 19, while the men's team is off until October 3 when they head to the MAAC Masters.
