Niagara University, NY — The Niagara women's tennis teams defeated Marist 4-2 in the first round of the MAAC Championship in West Windsor, NJ on Friday.

How it Happened

Niagara took the doubles point with the duo of Isabela Garcia and Gabriela Melo winning at the No. 1 spot 6-3, while Valeria Mora and Larisa Kotok locked up the No. 2 spot 6-2.

Melo also got the win at the No. 1 singles spot, while Kotok and Saloni Tamang won at the No. 3 and No. 4 spots respectively.
