Box Score Amherst, N.Y.- The Niagara women's tennis team traveled to Buffalo on Friday as they faced the Bulls. The women fell 7-0.
Doubles
Jadia Borg and Elena Mayet teamed up in the first doubles match. Niagara fell in the match despite taking two games from the Bulls.
In the second doubles match Gabriela Melo and Coral Rodriguez took four games in a loss to Buffalo.
Enrica Favaron and Larisa Kotok paired up for third doubles and dropped their match 6-2 against the Bulls.
Singles
Mayet was slotted into the first singles match of the day as she fell 6-3, 6-2.
Rodriguez fell 6-1 in both of her two sets.
Melo won two games in the first set but ended up falling 6-2. In the second set, she won five games to force a tiebreaker where she eventually ended up falling 7-5 in the match.
Borg came away with three wins in her first set but ended up dropping the set 6-3. She lost the second 6-1.
Mercedes Velasco made her first appearance of the day but ended up losing both sets 6-4 and 6-2.
Enrica Favaron dropped both of her sets in singles play 6-1.

The Purple Eagles are back on the road to play at St. Bonaventure on Saturday, Feb. 17, they then play at home to host Le Moyne on Sunday, Feb 18 in Williamsville, NY.
