Baseball Back On The Road To Face Saint Peter's

The Niagara baseball team (9-26, 4-8 MAAC) plays a three-game MAAC series at Saint Peter's (6-31, 3-9 MAAC) April 29-May 1. 
 
Niagara Notes
  • Cole O'Connor is batting a team-best .281. He leads the team in hits with 38 and in RBIs with 18. O'Connor is a perfect 6-for-6 in stolen bases and has scored 18 runs.
  • Cole Tucker is batting .258 with 33 hits and 11 RBIs. He leads the Purple Eagles in doubles with nine.
  • Dawson Bailey leads NU in runs scored with 19. He has 30 hits, including five homeruns, and 13 RBIs. He is 6-for-8 in stolen bases.
  • Josh Marchese has a team-high seven homeruns on the season so far.
  • Marchese (25), Matt Ward (28), Max Giordano (25), Brady Desjardins (22), Eli Selby (15), Benny Serrano (15) and Vincent Mauro (11) all have double-digit hits on the season.
  • On the mound, Evan Wilde (1-7) leads the Niagara pitching staff in strikeouts with 48 in 51.1 innings pitched.
  • Marcus Cashman (0-3) has fanned 43 in 42.0 innings pitched. He is holding opponents to a .187 batting average.
  • Marty Cole leads the team in appearances with 24 and has a 3.51 ERA.
