2024 (Senior)
Played and started in 54 games at shortstop for the Purple Eagles…had a career season in his final year with Niagara…hit a career best .317 while also setting career highs in homers, RBI, hits, runs, at bats, walks, on base percentage, and slugging percentage…made 71 putouts with 129 assists with a .948 fielding percentage…finishes his career sixth in all-time walks with 84…tallied a team high 30 game on base streak while also having a 10 game hitting streak…had 18 multi hit games with 13 multi RBI games…blasted two homers against Towson on Mar. 17 for his first multi home run game…went 3-4 with a homer and two runs in his final career game against No. 25 Nebraska

2023 (Junior)
Played in 40 games while making 38 starts at shortstop…hit .226 with 20 RBI and two homers…hit his first career home run against Marist on 5/5 at Bobo Field…had a career best .355 slugging percentage and a career best .346 on-base percentage…drew a career best 23 walks while setting a new high in doubles with 10….stole six bases…had a .911 fielding percentage while making 46 putouts and added 87 assists

2022 (Sophomore)
Played in 54 games and started in 51… Had a .239 batting average with 43 hits, including seven doubles and one triple, 22 runs scored and 15 RBIs...Went 7-for-8 in stolen bases

2021 (Freshman)
Played in 13 games and started five… Batted .211 with four hits and four runs scored

Before Niagara
Desjardins played four years of varsity ball at Berwick Academy and batted .400 during his high school career. His team won an Eastern Independent League (EIL) championship in 2018. Desjardins was an EIL honorable mention his freshman and sophomore years and was an EIL All-League selection his junior year. He played at the club level for Team Nike New England. He batted .500 for his club team. Desjardins was a two-sport athlete, also playing hockey competitively.
