NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, NY – The Niagara women's tennis program travels to Cleveland, Ohio Wednesday evening to take on the Cleveland State in a non-conference dual match.

• Buffalo's Schwarz defeated Elena Mayet, 6-2, 6-0, in No. 1 singles.
• In No. 2 singles, Coral Rodriguez fell to her opponent 6-3, 6-1.
• Erika Gonzalez fell 6-2, 6-0 in No. 3 singles.
• Mercedes Velasco dropped her No. 4 to Buffalo's Amat, 6-3, 6-2.
• Jaida Borg fell in No. 5 singles action, 6-4, 6-1.
• No. 6 singles ended with Kirah Regales being defeated by her opponent, 6-2, 6-1.
• Niagara dropped all three doubles matches.
 
Niagara Notes
• Erika Gonzalez holds the team's top record in dual match singles with a 7-5 record. The senior has won five of her last six matches.
• Oakville, Ontario native Jaida Borg is 5-7 in singles action this season and 4-2 in her last six matches.
• Coral Rodriguez and Mercedes Velasco are both 4-6 in singles action.
• In doubles, Niagara is 4-8 from the No. 1 position with the pairing of Rodriguez and Megan Gamble winning two of those four.
• The duo of Mayet and Velasco are 3-2 as a pairing this season.
• The Purple Eagles are 3-10 overall and 0-1 in MAAC play this season.
