SYRACUSE, NY - The Purple and White (0-6) fell to Syracuse (5-1) Sunday afternoon by the final score of 2-5. Niagara picked up both of its points in singles action as the Orange took the doubles point and four singles points to defeat the Purple Eagles.

Singles
• The Purple and White's Velasco and Humiston won by default in the No. 5 and No. 6 singles as the Orange didnt have enough players.
• In No. 1 singles,
Elena Mayet fell to Syracuse's Kimoto, 6-0, 6-2. Mayet is now 1-5 from the first position in dual matches this season.

Coral Rodriguez failed to secure a point in either set of her No. 2 singles match with the Orange's Kanapatskaya, falling 6-0, 6-0.
• On court three,
Jaida Borg dropped her match with Kozyreva, 6-2, 6-3. The sophomore is now 1-5 in dual matches on the year.

Erika Gonzalez, who entered the day 2-3 in singles action this season, fell to Cuse's Ito, 6-0, 6-0.
Doubles
• Niagara fell in all three doubles matches, allowing Cuse to take the doubles point.
• Mayet and
Megan Gamble fell in No. 1 singles, and Rodriguez and Gonzalez dropped the No. 2 singles, each by the final score of 6-2.
• Borg and Velasco were dispatched by the Orange, 6-1, in No. 3 doubles.
