Women's Cross Country

10 Student-Athletes Land on MAAC Cross Country All-Academic Team

EDISON, N.J.—On Friday, the MAAC announced the All-Academic Teams for both Men's and Women's Cross Country with a total of 208 student-athletes from across the MAAC earned the honor including 10 student-athletes from Niagara.

Braden York (Communications) and Bobby Adams (Finance) were named to the Men's All-Academic Team.

On the women's team Tori Achtziger-Hughes (Criminal Justice), Lydia Chunco (Education), Emily Debowski (Hotel Planning), Annina Marullo (Accounting), Alissa Mete (Education/Biology), Sara Mueller (Psychology), Kate Pratt (Psychology), and Casey Roman (Psychology) were all named to the All-Academic Team.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.

Both teams are in action tomorrow at the MAAC Championships hosted by Siena in Loudonville, N.Y.
