EDISON, N.J.-On Friday, the MAAC announced the All-Academic Teams for both Men's and Women's Cross Country with a total of 196 student-athletes from across the MAAC earned the honor including nine student-athletes from Niagara.
Caleb Noble (Education) and Braden York (Communications) were named to the Men's All-Academic Team.
On the women's team Victoria Achtziger-Hughes (Criminology), Lydia Chunco (Education), Emily Dembowski (Hospitality), Alissa Mete (Education), Sara Mueller (Psychology), Kate Pratt (Criminal Justice), Vanessa Woolery (Education) were all named to the All-Academic Team.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Both teams are in action tomorrow at the MAAC Championships hosed by Manhattan in Montgomery, NY. The 2023 championships will be the first time the championships will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm.
