EDISON, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has announced the 2020-21 Preseason Coaches' Polls for men's and women's cross country, as voted on by the league's head coaches.

The Purple Eagles men's and women's teams were each picked tenth. The Niagara men return five from last season's team while the women return nine Purple Eagles.

In October 2020, head coach Christine Kloiber announced Emma Bagnato and Nora Klinowski as co-captains for the women's team, while Spencer Swoboda will lead the men's team.

The 2020-21 MAAC Cross Country Championships will officially be held on Mar. 5 at the Seaview Golf Club in Galloway, New Jersey. This year's championships are sponsored by the Atlantic City Sports Commission.
