Niagara University, NY - Sophomore Alexa Briggs was tabbed the MAAC Women's Runner of the Week for the second time this season the conference announced Wednesday afternoon.

Briggs took home first place for the second race in a row, finishing the 6k course in 21:57.2 which is the second fastest time in school history, as the team took home seventh place. 

The women's cross country team is back in action Friday October 3 for the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh.
