HANOVER, N.H. – The Niagara women's tennis team took part in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northeast Regional this weekend in Hanover, N.H., on the campus of Dartmouth.
Coral Rodriguez picked up the lone Niagara win in singles action, with a 6-4, 6-3 result in her first match of the weekend.
Jaida Borg, Erika Rodriguez and
Elena Mayet each fell in their singles competitions.
In doubles action, both Purple Eagle pairing fell in their matches. Mayet and
Mercedes Velasco dropped their match with UConn's Wright and Petri-bere, while Gonzalez and
Enrica Favaron also conceded their match to a Cornell duo.
The Purple and White will be back in action Oct. 14-16 at the Viking Invitational hosted by Cleveland State.
