WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – Niagara's No. 1 doubles team of Megan Gamble and Elena Mayet improved to 2-0 on the season as the Purple Eagles were defeated by the Buffalo Bulls, 7-0, on Wednesday afternoon.
 
MATCH SUMMARY

Doubles

• Megan Gamble and Elena Mayet earned Niagara a victory in one doubles. The duo topped Gabriella Akopyan and Nikkoleta Antoniou-Karademitrou, 6-3, to improve to 2-0 on the season.
• However, the Bulls took two and three doubles, 6-1.

 
Singles

• The Bulls won all six singles matches in straight sets.

PURPLE POINTS

• Niagara won a doubles match against UB for the first time in seven meetings. The last doubles pair to win a match was Maria Ortiz and Brooke Briseno (February 16, 2014).
