The Purple Eagles welcome the Bloomsburg Huskies at the Village Glen Tennis Center on Saturday, February 8 at 7 p.m.

  • Niagara dropped a pair of matches to start the spring season last weekend. NU fell 7-0 to UB before being edged by Bucknell, 4-3.
  • The Purple Eagles won the doubles point, but the Bison rallied to win four of the six singles matches.
 Match Tidbits
  • Olga Donchu was named MAAC Player of the Week announced on February 5. Donchu went 2-2 in singles and doubles in matches at Buffalo and Bucknell.
  • In the match versus Bucknell, Donchu topped Paige Leavy, 6-0, 5-7, 6-1, in two singles. Donchu and doubles partner Ali Hutchinson defeated Bucknell's Jill Auteri and Sofia Ayson, 6-3, en route to Niagara winning the doubles point.
  • Donchu and Erika Gonzalez are tied for the team-lead in singles wins with nine.
