The Niagara Purple Eagles conclude their road and conference schedule this week with matches against Rider on Thursday and Monmouth on Friday.  

Scene Setter
  • The Purple Eagles remain in search of their first conference win after falling at Fairfield and Siena last weekend.  
  • Niagara snapped a five-match skid with a 4-3 win at Lafayette on April 6.

Match Tidbits
  • Sophomore Olga has won her last four matches to improve to a team-best 10-8 in singles. Donchu, who is 3-0 in league matches, is 2-0 in two singles, is 5-4 in four singles and 2-2 in three singles.
  • Andreea Peteu is 2-2 in league matches.
  • The duo of Megan Gamble and Som have a record of 7-9 while playing together this season, including a 6-6 record in one doubles. The duo is 2-1 in league matches.

  • Rider is 4-11 on the season and 1-4 in MAAC matches with its win coming against Monmouth (4-3) in September.
  • Angelica Garcia leads the team in singles wins (8) and in doubles wins (9) with partner Cyd Melendez.
