The Niagara University women's tennis team is back in action with a pair of matches, starting on Friday at Le Moyne before hosting Wright State on Sunday.

Scene Setter

• After topping Colgate on February 3, the Purple Eagles have dropped their last four matches against solid programs – Bucknell, Quinnipiac, Detroit, and West Virginia.
• Niagara pushed preseason MAAC favorite Quinnipiac to the brink before falling 4-3 on February 16 to open conference play.

Match Tidbits

• Olga Donchu leads the team in singles wins with five.  
• The doubles teams of Ali Hutchinson/Olga Donchu and Megan Gamble/Chhinda Som have each won four matches.

Across the Net: Le Moyne Dolphins

• Le Moyne, an NCAA Division II program in Syracuse, will play its final regular season match of the season against the Purple Eagles.
• The Dolphins are 13-6 overall and 8-3 in conference play (NE10).
• Five Dolphins are in double-digit wins in singles, led by Marta Nunez who is 15-5 overall, including 9-2 in conference, with six of her wins coming in three singles.
• Carolina St. Antoine is 8-1 in her last nine matches.
• As a team, Le Moyne is 38-21 in doubles matches. Nunez and St. Antoine have won a team-high 11 matches while the team of Brooke Fernandez and Camila Humala are 10-1.

 
Across the Net: Wright State Raiders

• Wright State is 3-7 on the season with defeats to Notre Dame, Michigan State, and Xavier.
• The Raiders will host IU Southeast and St. Louis on March 1 before venturing to Western New York for matches against Niagara and St. Bonaventure.
