Coach's Corner
  • Head coach Christine Kloiber: "We are super proud of both the men's and women's teams this year, from start to finish. It's been a very gracious season in terms of how much everyone contributed not just in physical ability, but in terms of the unity they shared through the overall experience. Everyone contributed something uniquely essential to make the team what it is, and it was a pleasure to watch them grow and succeed together."

"What we saw at the MAAC Championships was what we had seen all year: our athletes running with confidence and intention. For the women, that meant jumping up a slot and beating Canisius, and if not for some last minute illness and injury, they likely would have had a shot at finishing seventh overall. The talent and potential this team has for upcoming years in remarkable, as we're still a pretty young squad."

"The men's team had a relatively new dynamic this year, and though they weren't out there for the same merits, they were training and racing as if they were. They wholeheartedly gave it their all these last three meets, and the number of PRs and the rate of improvement from everyone was very impressive and is something they should be recognized for."
