The Niagara University men's and women's tennis teams return to Western New York to open their MAAC schedule against the Siena Saints on Saturday.
Spring Break Rewind – Niagara Women
- The Purple Eagles played in six matches in Orlando during their spring break from March 6-9.
- Ali Hutchinson won two singles matches to lead the team.
- Stella Peisahkova, Sharlee Deshmukh, Andreea Peteu, Chinnda Som and Alexandra Whiteny all won a match.
- The doubles team of Chinnda Som and Ali Hutchinson went a team-best 2-1 in three doubles.

- Andreea Peteu and Stella Peisakhova each have eight wins in singles play.
- Alexandra Whitney is the only Purple Eagle above .500 in singles (3-2).
Across The Net – Siena Saints
- Siena is 7-6 on the season and 1-0 in the MAAC after beating Rider in the fall.
- Kylie Mullaney and Rina Sakai lead the team in singles with seven wins.
- As a team, the Saints are 19-19 in doubles.
Spring Break Rewind – Niagara Men
- The Purple Eagles played five matches in Orlando during their spring break from March 6-9.
- Taylan Ozdemir won three of his five singles matches in No. 1 singles.
- Pere Padro won two singles matches.
- Finnbar Adams, Brent Boleslav, Eduardo Villalpando, and Josh Wilson all won one singles match.
- The doubles team of Josh Wilson and Brent Boleslav went a team-best 2-1 with wins against Norfolk State and Hampden-Sydney.

- Taylan Ozdemir leads Niagara with a 14-13 record in singles. Ozdemir is the only Purple Eagle in double-digit wins.
- Josh Wilson is second on the team with eight wins.
- Ozdemir and Finnbar Adams are a team-best 9-7 in doubles.

- Siena is 4-10 on the season and 1-0 in the MAAC after beating Rider in the fall.
- Muhamma Raza-Sawani leads the team with five singles wins.
- As a team, Siena is 15-24 in doubles.
- Siena rallied from a 2-0 hole to beat Niagara in the regular season finale last year.
