ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. – The Niagara University women's tennis team fell to the Detroit Titans, 7-0, in its home opener at Thursday.
 
Match Notes

• NU dropped the doubles point despite a strong effort Sansriti Ranjan and Sharlee Deshmukh as the duo played at the No. 1 spot for the first time this season.
• NU fell in all six singles matches. Ranjan was the closet to taking a set as she served for the second set at 5-4, but lost the next three games.
