The Niagara Purple Eagles will play two matches on Friday, October 6 against Daemen and SUNY Geneseo at the NU Tennis Courts.

First Serve

• The Purple Eagles have played in two competitions this fall season.
• NU competed in the season-opening Daemen Invitational from Sept. 15-17. Five Purple Eagles reached their respective flights final.
• Niagara's first dual match of the season was against Walsh on Oct. 1. Niagara defeated Walsh, 4-3, at the NU Tennis Courts.
• The Purple Eagles won all three doubles matches to earn the point, and picked up wins from Stella Peisakhova, Andreea Peteu and Sharlee Deshmukh.

Purple Points

• Three Purple Eagles (Stella Peisakhova, Andreea Peteu and Sharlee Deshmukh) are 3-1 in singles matches.
• Niagara is 7-3 in doubles matches this fall. The duo of Ali Hutchinson and Andrea Peteu is a team-best 3-1

 
Across The Net – Daemen Wildcats (5-5)

• The Wildcats are 5-5 in dual matches this season and have played in two tournaments.
• Christina Stasiuk leads the team in singles wins with nine.
• The doubles team of Lorissa Yuen and Giovanna Paschoalin is 4-2.

Across The Net – SUNY Geneseo Knights (3-2)

• The Knights are 3-2 in dual matches.
• Geneseo is 21-9 in singles matches, led by Nina Lurie who is 5-0
• In doubles, the team of Vanessa Lam-Tran and Rachel Ollis is 4-0.
