NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – The Niagara women's tennis team defeated Walsh University, 4-3, in its first dual match of the season on Sunday.

- Ali Hutchinson and Andreea Peteu cruised to a 6-2 win in two doubles. The duo improved to 3-1 on the season.

- In singles, Peisakhova, Peteu and Deshmukh collected wins.
- Peisakhova won in straight sets for her third win of the fall.
- Peteu continued her strong start to her career as a Purple Eagle with a 6-1, 6-1 win in two singles.
- Deshmukh defeated Sofia Khairutdinova, 6-0, 6-3, in five singles.
