Women’s Tennis Falls At Defending Champions

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. – The Niagara Purple Eagles had their two-match win streak snapped at Quinnipiac, 7-0, in a rematch of last season's MAAC Championship match.

The Purple Eagles (7-10, 3-2 MAAC) dropped the doubles point before heading into singles action where they fell in all six matches as the Bobcats improved to 3-0 in MAAC play.

The schedule match with Sacred Heart on Sunday has been cancelled due to inclement weather. The Purple Eagles' next match with be at Marist on April 9.
