ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. – The Niagara women's tennis team fell 5-2 to Wright State on Thursday night.
 
The Purple Eagles (3-6) earned their two points with wins in singles play. Haley Hollins won her second straight match with a three-set win over Taylor Culbertson, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, in No. 2 singles as NU trailed 2-1. Shannon Wong won her fourth match of the spring with a three-set win over Elaine Cloern, 2-6, 6-4, 6-3 to make the score 3-2 in favor of Wright State.
 
NU plays against Daemen on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
