WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – The Niagara Purple Eagles were defeated by the Siena Saints, 7-0, on Sunday.
 
A day after opening their conference slate with a win over Fairfield, Niagara (5-9, 1-1 MAAC) was upended by the Saints in all nine matches.
 
The Purple Eagles continue their homestand next weekend against Rider on March 25 and Monmouth on March 26.
