The Niagara women's tennis team has two matches this week playing at Cornell on March 12 at 3 p.m. and at Stony Brook on March 13 at 9 a.m.

Cornell Big Red (7-5)
- The Big Red are riding a two-match win streak and is 5-2 in their last seven matches.
- Niagara will be Cornell's ninth opponent in an 11-match Big Red homestand. Cornell is 5-2 at home.
- Cornell's diverse schedule includes matches with teams from the AAC, ACC, Big 12, Big East and American East among others.
- Lizzie Stewart leads Cornell in singles wins with a 9-2 record playing in the three and five spot. Michelle Wang is a perfect 6-0 in the spring.
- As a doubles unit, the Big Red are 23-13 this spring.
Stony Brook Sea Wolves (4-3)
- Stony Brook is 4-3 on the season and rode a season-high three-match winning streak from Feb. 12-Feb. 26, downing Lehigh, LIU Brooklyn and Bryant.
- The Sea Wolves defeated Siena 7-0 in their most recent match.
- Stony Brook does not have a home match until March 30, which is 12 matches into the season.
- Elizabeth Tsvetkov has a team-best 15-2 record in singles, followed by Louise Badoche who is 13-4 and Yana Nikolaeva who is 10-3. Â

- Six of the seven Purple Eagles have a .500 or better winning percentage in singles this season.
- Shannon Wong has a team-best 5-4 record playing in the No. 3 (2-2) and No. 4 (3-2) spot, and has won her last two matches.
- Freshman Haley Hollins improved her singles record to 5-5 on the spring season with wins over Wright State and Daemen College last week. Stella Peisakhova also has a 5-5 record.
