Stella Peisakhova and
Haley Hollins picked up wins in singles in the Purple Eagles' 5-2 loss to the Bucknell Bison on Saturday.
The Purple Eagles (3-5) loss the doubles points after falling in No. 1 doubles, 7-5, and in No. 2 doubles, 6-3. After falling in No. 5 singles, Hollins defeated Bucknell's Michele Urbinati, 7-5, 6-0, for the first point of the match.
NU would drop matches in three and four singles before Peisakhova earned her fourth win of the spring defeating Maria Cioffi in No. 1 singles, 7-5, 5-7, 10-4.
Niagara continues its homestand on Thursday, March 3 against Wright State at 6 p.m.
