The Stags (11-23, 3-9 MAAC) broke a six-game losing streak on Wednesday with a 12-4 win over Central Connecticut.  The skid started with a sweep by Marist which was followed by losses to UConn, Northeastern, and Sacred Heart.  Ryan Plourde leads Fairfield with a .341 average and 25 RBIs.  Both EJ Ashworth and Jeremy Soule have started eight games and have one win apiece.  Ashworth boasts a 3.22 ERA while Soule isn’t far behind with a 3.61 ERA.
