Olver arrives on Monteagle Ridge after a standout career in one of Canada’s best amateur leagues, the British Columbia Premier Baseball League...He played for Head Coach Larson Bauck and the North Shore Twins for two years capped by a senior season in which he was named to the BCPBL All-Conference first team...leading the league in innings, strikeouts, and complete games pitched...As a prep athlete at Prince of Whales Secondary School from 2007-12, he was named athlete of the year in both 2010 and 2012...As one of the top pitchers in the province, he was selected as a member of Team British Columbia for the 2011 Canada Cup, the Pacific Northwest Championships, and Perfect Game WWBA events in Arizona and Florida.
