MANHATTAN, KS. – Niagara baseball dropped the second and final game against Kansas State 10-1 on Wednesday afternoon in Tointon Stadium.

That was as close as the Purple Eagles got as the Wildcats added runs in the fourth and sixth innings and ended with a four-run eighth on their way to a 10-1 win.

Thomas Rodrigues collected another pair of hits against the Wildcats, with a 2-for-3 outing on Wednesday. Joel Klock (0-1) was given the loss after pitching four innings and giving up five runs (only two earned) on five hits.
The Purple Eagles head right to Lawrence, KS for a four-game set against the Kansas Jayhawks. First pitch on Thursday is scheduled for 4 p.m.
