NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. - After another strong outing at the 2011 Little Three Cross Country Championships, sophomore Kim Vona has earned Niagara's Student-Athlete of the Week.

Niagara was led by Kim Vona at the 2011 Little Three Championshipson Saturday,  completing the 5k course in second place out of 25 runners in a time of 19:08. Vona has led the Purple Eagles in all nine career races that she has ran in, including all three races during the 2011 season.

Niagara is back in action on Friday, when it travels to compete in the 2011 Paul Short Invitational, hosted by Lehigh.
