OLEAN, N.Y. – The Niagara women’s tennis team put out a strong performance, but it was not enough to defeat the Army Black Knights and lost 6-1 on Saturday afternoon.
Two of Niagara’s (5-7) single matches went into three sets with Hilary Hansen (Charlottetown, P.E.I.) picking up the Purple Eagles’ only win with a 64 16 64 win over Army’s Maria Casaletto.
Niagara will face Albany on Sunday morning.
