ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - The Purple Eagles (8-11, 6-1) ended their regular season on Tuesday with a 4-3 victory at St. Bonaventure. Niagara won at first and second doubles, to take the point and won three singles matches for the victory.

Kim Roberts (Victoria, B.C.) and Shella Dargout (Rochester, N.Y.) picked up a win at first doubles when they defeated Anna Perevenzetseva and Yolande Callaghan 8-2. At second doubles Emma Cunnington (Victoria, B.C.) and Raquel Solis (Puebla, Mexico) picked up a 8-3 win over Ana Delgado and Vanessa Rumple.

Solis went on to earn the Purple Eagles a win at first singles when she beat Yolande Callaghan 6-3, 6-4. Both Shella Dargout and Victoria Tiso (Clarence, N.Y.) earned their second straight match victory.  At second singles Dargout defeated Perevenzetseva 6-3, 6-4. Tiso, at fifth singles, lost her first set 2-6 and then went on to win the next two sets 6-1, 6-1 to beat Vanessa Rumple.

Niagara now looks to the MAAC Tournament, held in Flushing Meadows, N.Y. on Friday, March 15. The Purple Eagles enter the tournament as the No. 2 seed, with a 6-1 conference record. The Purps are set to hit the court on Friday at 3:30 to play the No. 7 seed.
