NIAGARA UNIV. N.Y. - The Niagara women's tennis team earned its second win of 2008 on Saturday, and is now 2-0 in MAAC action as it defeated St. Peters 6-1 at the Sportsplex in Tonawanda N.Y.
Earning points for the Purple Eagles was Raquel Solis (Puebla, Mexico) at first singles, Shella Dargout (Rochester, N.Y.) at second singles, Venja Lakic (Waterloo, Ont.) at third singles, Victoria Tiso (Clarence, N.Y.) at fifth singles and Kim Roberts (Victoria, B.C.) at sixth singles.
Niagara won all three doubles matches, earning the point.
The Purple Eagles now look to March 8, when they host Binghamton and Sportsplex.
