HAMILTON, N.Y. – Senior Julianne Prokopich (Loretto, Ont.) earned the Niagara University women’s tennis team’s (3-3) lone point in a 6-1 loss at Colgate University (3-1) Saturday morning.

Prokopich improved to 2-2 in dual matches at No. 3 singles with a 4-6, 6-4, 10-5 win over Erin Fenn. She also teamed with fellow senior Jacquelyn Cary (Selkirk, N.Y.) at No. 3 doubles for an 8-5 victory over Fenn and Cameron Williams.

The Purple Eagles return to action Feb. 23 when they host Duquesne at 6 p.m. in the Sportsplex.
