NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. – The Niagara University women’s tennis team won its 28th consecutive regular-season Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match with a 7-0 shutout of Siena College late Saturday at Sportsplex.
With the win, the Purple Eagles extended its current winning streak to three, improved to 9-7 overall and 5-0 in the MAAC. The shutout was the fourth in the last seven matches for Niagara.
Next up for the Purple Eagles is Marist at 4 p.m. Sunday at Sportsplex.
