Former Niagara Purple Eagles outfielder Nick Monile has signed a professional contract with the Milwaukee Brewers and was assigned to the MLB Complex League on Friday.

Monile was a key piece to the 2023 MAAC Championship winning team. He played in 49 games while making 45 starts, finishing the season with a .341 average which led all MAAC freshmen. He also finished 10th in the MAAC in hitting, hit three homers while driving in 36 runs, notching 58 hits with 44 runs scored with a .449 on base percentage and a slugging percentage of .447. He capped off the season being named to the All-MAAC Second Team and the All-MAAC Rookie Team.
