AMHERST, N.Y. – Niagara men's tennis concluded the UB Invite dubbed the Big Three Battle between Niagara, St. Bonaventure, and Buffalo Saturday afternoon.
On Friday, Niagara's Rohan Strivastava dominated his round one matchup with St. Bonaventure's Olliveirre, 6-1, 6-1. He would go on to take the first set of his match on Saturday, 6-3, but fell in the next two games.
In doubles action, José Maria García and
Vid Maric took their match on Saturday 6-1 over Bona's Pindiprolu and Olliveirre. The duo would would take on the Bonnies pairing again on Saturday, falling 6-4 in a close match.
García would pick up a singles win over Olliveirre, 6-3, 6-2, while Maric won a singles match over UB's Nasyam in three sets, 7-6, 3-6, 10-5.
Tanner Bedard also took his Saturday's singles match, picking up a 6-4, 2-6, 10-6, win over Snaiders of Buffalo.
