HOPKINTON, N.H. - The Niagara University cross country teams concluded their seasons Friday at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships, with the men placing 34th and the women finishing 37th overall.

Braden York led the Purple Eagles men with a 39th-place finish, completing the 10K course at Hopkinton State Fairgrounds in 30:59.02.

Niagara's
Luc DiFlavio crossed in 197th (33:24.99).
Caleb Noble (225th, 34:26.65),
Caleb Harman (234th, 34:45.94), and
Brendan Kelly (251st, 37:18.50) rounded out the scoring five.

On the women's side, freshman
Alexa Briggs paced Niagara with a time of 22:26.02, good for 151st place in the 6K race.

Alissa Mete (180th, 22:57.88),
Sara Mueller (202nd, 23:13.46),
Mercedez Covey (247th, 24:18.98), and
Sarah Mruk (249th, 24:22.32) completed the Purple Eagles' top five.

Syracuse won the men's team title while Providence captured the women's crown.
