Purple Eagles Drop Match To Buffalo

Box Score Amherst, N.Y.—The Niagara men's tennis team faced Buffalo for lone time this spring, the Purple Eagles fell 6-1 to the Bulls.

Doubles Singles
  • Tanner Bedard was slotted in second singles and won his opening set 7-5. UB responded and forced a tiebreaker set as they won 6-4 in the second set. Bedard took the win as he won the tiebreaker set, 10-4
  • Vaca won the first set of his match 7-5, UB took the second set 7-6. The Bulls picked up the win in the third set as they won 11-9.
  • In first singles, Bryce Bodak fell 6-3,6 6-3 as he could not grab a set.
  • Alonso fell in third singles in straight sets 6-3, 6-1. While Sedeno fell 6-4, 6-3 in fourth singles .
  • Makkar lost a pair of sets 6-3 in fifth singles.

  • For Bodak it was his third win this season and his first in the second singles position.
