Women’s Tennis Receives ITA All-Academic Team Award

NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – The Niagara University women's tennis program was named an ITA All-Academic Team announced on Monday.

The program posted a 3.45 grade point average for the 2020-21 academic year and placed four Purple Eagles on the MAAC All-Academic Team. To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, a program must have a team grade point average of 3.2.

In addition to ITA Academic Team honors, five Purple Eagles – Jaida Borg, Olga Donchu, Madigan Humiston, Coral Rodriguez, and Emma Shea – were named ITA Scholar-Athletes. To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, you must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the current academic year.
