Cole Tucker has been named the MAAC Co-Player of the Week, announced by the conference on Monday.
Tucker had a phenomenal weekend as the Purple Eagles went 2-2 against the Manhattan Jaspers. He had three multi-hit games, including two three-hit games.
In game one of a doubleheader against Manhattan on Sunday, May 2, Tucker had an impressive three stolen bases.
On the weekend, Tucker had nine hits, including two doubles and one homerun, five RBIs, four runs scored and four stolen bases. He batted .529 with a .556 on-base percentage and .824 slugging percentage.
On the season, Tucker is batting a team-best .397. He has recorded 29 hits, 15 RBIs, 14 runs scored and is a perfect 6-for-6 in stolen bases.
The Purple Eagles are set to wrap up the regular season with a four-game series versus Fairfield at Bobo Field May 8-9.
