The Niagara Purple Eagles head to New Jersey for a pair of MAAC matches.

Scene Setter

• The Purple Eagles picked up their first win of the season on March 25 with a 7-0 victory over the RIT Tigers.
• Niagara dropped its conference opener to Quinnipiac on March 12.
• NU fell to the Fairfield Stags 5-2, on March 27.
• Niagara was scheduled to host Marist on March 28, but the match was postponed due to a COVID-19 pause at Marist College. The match has been rescheduled for April 6.

 
Match Tidbits

• Pere Padro is leading the team in singles wins over the last two seasons with 14. Padro and doubles partner Eduardo Villalpando picked up Niagara's lone doubles wins through four matches with a 6-4 win against Quinnipiac and a 6-4 victory against Fairfield in three doubles.
• The Purple Eagles have won 20 straight against Rider and is 0-7 versus Monmouth since the Hawks joined the conference in 2013, including a semifinals defeat in 2015.
