NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – Niagara volleyball head coach Donna Day has named Jaycie Roberts, Jessica Streuer and Grace Hetterscheidt team captains for the 2020-21 season.

Roberts, who was named to the All-MAAC First Team last season, averaged 2.86 kills per set and a team-best 4.15 digs per set in 2019. She also had a team-high 28 service aces.

Streuer led the team in assists with 8.50 assists per set. She also averaged 1.94 digs per set and had 11 service aces.

In 2019, Hetterscheidt averaged 2.26 kills per set and 1.02 digs per set. She finished the season with 44 total blocks (three solo, 41 block assists) and 17 service aces.

The Purple Eagles open their season on Sunday, March 20 with two matches at Saint Peter's.
