Niagara University, NY – The Niagara men's tennis team will take on Daemen College Sunday at 11 a.m. from the Niagara Tennis Courts on the campus of Niagara University.
Last Time Out
• The Purple Eagles last took the court Oct. 14-17 at the ITA Northeast Regional Championships.

Trevor Masi went 2-0 in singles play to qualify for the second day of competition.
• Masi defeated Yale's Walker Oberg (6-2, 6-2) in his first match, followed by a three-set win over Quinnipiac's Javier Casasolas (6-4, 4-6, 11-9).
•
William Gothlin fell to St. John's Yaron Guberman in three sets (4-6, 6-2, 11-9), failing to advance.
• On the second day of the tournament, Masi squared off with Marc Blekham of Lafayette, winning the first set 6-1, before falling 6-3, 6-3 in the second and third sets.
•
Manuel Alonso fell in his singles match, dropping a two-set match to Jan Semarek of Merrimack, 6-2, 6-0.
• Niagara had one doubles pairing play in qualifying and that was
Eduardo Villalpando and
Jorge Sedeno. The duo battled but ended up falling to Lehigh's Matt Kleiman and Jeremy Learner, 8-6.
• The pairing of Masi and Alonso dropped their doubles match, 8-3, to Alex Hammitt and Matvey Randionov.
Niagara Notes
• The Purple Eagles are 2-0 in dual matches this season, defeating Walsh University and Le Moyne earlier this fall.
• Sunday will mark the final dual match of the fall season for Niagara.
