NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – This week's Strategic Financial Solutions Student-Athletes of the week are Nora Klinowski and Erin Murray of women's cross country.

Nora Klinowski | Senior | Albany, N.Y.

Klinowski had a stellar 2019 season. She completed the 6k in 21:43.2 at the NCAA Northeast Regionals, which was a personal record. Klinowski finished 32^nd overall at the MAAC Championships and seventh at the Canisius Alumni Classic. At the Paul Short Run, she finished the Women's College Brown 6k in 22:15.4, which was her then-personal best. Klinowski placed seventh at the Yellowjacket Invitational and led NU in the 5k at the Little Three Championships, helping the Purple Eagles to a victory over Little Three rivals Canisius and St Bonaventure.

Klinowski was selected to both the MAAC All-Academic Team and the MAAC Academic Honor Roll.  

Erin Murray | Senior | Holland, N.Y.

Murray opened her first collegiate cross country season as Niagara's fifth finisher at the Yellowjacket Invitational. She also finished fifth overall for the team at the MAAC Championships. The Holland, N.Y., native set personal bests at the Paul Short Invitational (6k) and the Canisius Alumni Classic (5k). Murray set a road-course personal best at the NCAA Northeast Regionals to close out the fall season. Outside of competition, Murray represented Niagara on the 2019 MAAC All-Academic Team.
